Drive V Social’s first research initiative, using Colombia as a pivotal case study to reveal how tourism can become a powerful catalyst for sustainable development in post-conflict regions. Since the 2016 Peace Agreement, Colombia has seen an unprecedented opportunity to build sustainable livelihoods through tourism while preserving cultural memory and biodiversity.

At V Social, together with our Colombian partner Travolution and the TUI Care Foundation, we support tourism and peace initiatives in creating viable community enterprises to transform their territories. This research role will be key in transforming our experience into a practical, replicable model that can inspire other conflict-affected regions worldwide—while critically examining and refining our own methods along the way.

Note:

  • The candidate should ideally be based in Bogotá to facilitate travel to different territories.
  • Please note that this position is linked to a limited one-year contract on a full-time basis.
  • This research is conducted by the V Social Foundation, while Ventura TRAVEL’s job listings page is used for communication purposes.
