As our next Tour Guide Operations Specialist, you will be finding, training, and managing the best tour guides to ensure world-class operations for our brands. You'll be the go-to person for Trou Guides and internal stakeholders, on topics such as departure allocation, contract negotiations and changes, payments and emergency handling. You will make sure information is shared and processes are followed. 

We are convinced that sharing great moments at work allows us to grow stronger together. You will be an active member of a fun team that has a high impact on our tour guides and customer satisfaction. In this small and effective team, you will report directly to our Tour Guide Operations Manager.

Your main responsibilities will be 

  • Ensure that our tour guides deliver the best possible service to our travellers and take immediate action if you see an issue
  • Constantly check if processes are being followed and adapt if needed
  • Share tour guide insights after a trip with the appropriate internal stakeholders in order to improve service quality
  • Negotiate and sign contracts to have the best tour guides working with us 
  • Offer high-quality training to tour guides across our brands
  • In case of emergency, react quickly, find the best possible solution, and share information with stakeholders

The basics you bring along

  • Experience as or extensive work with tour guides/tour operations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and focus, as well to say "no" to things
  • Passion for excellence and an eye for detail
  • Experience in giving high-quality trainings  
  • Flexible time management in emergency situations
  • Negotiation skills
  • Great language skills in English and Spanish

You can impress us even more with
